ElevateOurKids.org is a non-profit organization to gather and distribute resources, computing devices, and learning tools to support in kids' education in under-resourced communities.

The Story & Steps
Covid-19 Hit America in early 2020, and kids across the globe were forced, for safety reasons, to transition to school at home. That meant America assumed kids had good Internet, a laptop or tablet, and a quiet home environment to concentrate and learn whether on ZOOM, Google Classroom, or something similar. However, not all children have these great tools and Internet access at home. Remote learning requires a sound set up for learning and providing ALL children with the freedom to learn.
We hear stories of children doing their classroom instruction on their parents' cracked smartphone, and this my friends and colleagues is our digital gap or digital divide that separates kids learning from kids struggling to learn. WE CAN DO BETTER. While we work on getting the non-profit (ElevateOurKids.org officially set up as a 501c3), we have work to do now.

- Identifying School Districts (or families) Who Need Laptops/Devices
- Validating The Need (Legitimacy, Needs Gap, Confirmation)
- Fundraising Across Companies, Corporations, Donors, Individuals
- Marrying the Need with the Equipment
- Distribution of BRAND NEW laptops, tablets, Chromebooks and other equipment
Get Involved
We are calling on corporate america, (tech companies, handset manufacturers, computing and laptop manufacturers, Internet companies, Big companies), donors, individuals, and families who may be more blessed than others, to donate whatever you can to support in helping kids get the proper resources they need to learn in any environment, but especially at home. Every kid should have a working laptop or tablet for online learning as we have too many "what-ifs" that may require kids to learn from home for the foreseeable future. Contributions to Elevate Our Kids are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
